To attain fitness without flexibility of the joints and muscles and without relaxation of the body and mind is a misnomer. The Tabata Program is a cardiovascular program with more spice. It is high intensity, high interval training that ensures fast, guaranteed results. So what does a basic Tabata training design look like?

Tabata can be taught in a lot of different ways. At +BEYOND, our instructors try to make each class unique and different so members are burnt out on the same thing every time. One of the most common ways is 5 rounds and alternating between to two workouts 4 times, so a total of 8 sets in each round. Within each round, you will perform 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest.

Another option is stations. The same concept of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest is still set here, but each person might be at a station for 4-6 sets until everyone rotates and moves to the next station. During this version, instructors usually like to make 4-5 full rotations.
